Honda to Showcase New Compact SUV







Honda Car India Ltd. (HCIL) has disclosed a tell-tale idea of what the manufacturer has in line for production, and which concept models will be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.


For starters, Honda will debut the eagerly awaited crossover utility vehicle BR-V at the 2016 Auto Expo. The new Honda BR-V will lock horns with the Hyundai Creta and also the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Mahindra Scorpio and the Tata Safari Storme.


Honda will also have on display the latest generation of its premium sedan, the Accord, which will be re-introduced in the Indian market. Both the cars will be the key future models on display at the event.
After its international debut in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Honda will have on display the Project 2and4 which is powered by the RC213V motorcycle engine.The Project 2and4 is a concept of `creative craftsmanship' that received a winning entry at Honda `Global Design Project' competition.The driving experience of the concept 2and4 shifts to a different level as it combines the freedom of a motorcycle and manoeuvrability of a car.

Welcoming the audience, Honda ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) is bound to have the crowd mesmerized, being the most advanced humanoid robot as claimed by the manufacturer. The Honda pavilion will also showcase the current line-up of Honda cars consisting of the Brio, Jazz, Amaze, City, Mobilio and the CR-V.
