The first drive of the last Jazz was held in Goa and,
this time as well, Honda Cars India organised the first drive of the
new Jazz in the beach state. The last time, the Indian car market was
not as mature and customers were not willing to pay Rs 8 lakh-plus for a
premium hatchback. Today, there are a number of hatchbacks priced in
excess of Rs 9 lakh, and some even have a waiting period of more than
four months.
The new Jazz is a third-generation model. Honda has
already sold 5.5 million units globally since this car first went on
sale in 2001. The new car looks a lot like the previous one, since it is
more a cross between a hatchback and a MUV rather than a
straightforward hatchback. From the front it looks similar to the new
Honda City. The grille at the front has a Piano Black bar running across
with a curved chrome trim below and a Honda logo in chrome on top.
The narrow grille merges into the wrap-around headlamps, giving the
car a sporty look. It is from the side that the Jazz looks a little like
an MPV. At the rear, it gets LED tail- and stop-lamps. To go with the
frontal sporty design, there is a spoiler on the rear tailgate.
The interiors say that this is a global car, not just an India or
Asia model. The quality of plastic and fabric is superior compared to
its siblings, the Brio and Amaze. The three-meter display expresses a
clean and sporty design.

Tyres are expensive, period. You may need a replacement once in 4 – 5 years. However, by the end of that period, your tyre could easily be torn down to shreds, if proper care wasn’t given to it. The minimum legal tread depth is 1.5 mm, while some may choose to use beyond that, it can lead to dire consequences. Proper maintenance should ensure safer driving and prolong the life of your tyres. With Proper Maintenance of Tyre you should also do your Car Servicing Properly for Your car Performance. We offer Best Car Servicing at Our Solitaire Honda Car Service Center in Mumbai. Book Your Servicing Now or Contact Us for More Information About Honda Car Servicing in Mumbai.
We provide you with 5 tips to maintaining your tyres and increasing their shelf life.
Maintain Correct Tyre Pressure The most important aspect of maintaining a car’s tyres is checking and maintaining the correct tyre pressure. Your owner’s manual will inform you the correct pressure for your tyres. Tyres lose air pressure after continuous driving and are needed to be refilled every month or so. Check the pressure on a fortnightly basis on all four tyres. The best time to do so is when in the morning, when the air is cold. You should also keep a tab on the PSI level of spare wheel on a monthly basis. You can also choose to fill your tyres with nitrogen, which needs to be checked only once in two months.
Rotate TyresTyre rotation is important for reducing uneven tyre wear. Regular rotation of your tyres will save your money by increasing the life of your tyres and give you a smoother and a safer ride. In front wheel drive cars, the front tyres are subjected to more wear and tear as compared to the rear ones. Your manual will tell you when to rotate the tyres on your vehicle. Make sure you also find out, if they are directional tyres or non-directional tyres. The rotating technique is different for both. If you have a full sized spare, you could choose to rotate it along with the other tyres, and use the most worn out tyre as a spare.
